POZIV NA FOTO NATJEČAJ „E, MOJ GALEBE!“
PRIRODOSLOVNOG ODJELA NARODNOG MUZEJA ZADAR
Između mora i betona, između ribarskih mreža i kanti za smeće u gradu - galeb živi na dvije adrese.
Jednom nogom i krilom još uvijek pripada moru i obali, a drugom je već daleko zagazio u gradski život.
Nekad vjerni pratilac ribara, danas brz, glasan, uvijek na pravom mjestu u pravo vrijeme, posebno kad je marenda u pitanju.
Možda vam ide na živce.
Možda vam je simpatičan.
Možda oboje, ovisno o tome kako je izgledao vaš susret.
Ovo je prilika da nam ga pokažete.
Pozivamo vas da nam kroz fotografiju otkrijete njegova dva lica. Ista ptica - dvije različite priče.
PROPOZICIJE NATJEČAJA
1. Pravo sudjelovanja imaju sve osobe, neovisno o dobi i fotografskom iskustvu.
2. Svaki autor može poslati najviše dvije (2) fotografije:
– jednu fotografiju koja prikazuje galeba u njegovom prirodnom okruženju
– jednu fotografiju koja prikazuje galeba u urbanom okruženju
3. Fotografije se predaju u JPEG formatu. Fotografije ne smiju sadržavati okvire, potpise, logotipe, vodene žigove, ime autora niti druge identifikacijske oznake.
4. Dopuštene su osnovne digitalne obrade (korekcija svjetline, kontrasta, izrezivanje i sl.), pod uvjetom da ne mijenjaju stvarni sadržaj fotografije. Nije dopušteno dodavanje, uklanjanje ili premještanje elemenata na fotografiji, kao ni korištenje AI alata za generiranje ili izmjenu sadržaja.
5. Nije dopušteno slati fotografije koje:
– su generirane umjetnom inteligencijom,
– krše etička načela ili pravila natječaja,
– uključuju uznemiravanje ili manipulaciju životinjama.
Nije dopušteno ugrožavati životinje ili njihovo stanište radi snimanja fotografije. Fotografije nastale neetičkim ili nedopuštenim postupcima bit će diskvalificirane.
6. Fotografije se zaprimaju isključivo u digitalnom formatu i šalju se na e-mail adresu: fotonatjecaj.po@gmail.com.
Osobni podaci sudionika prikupljaju se i koriste isključivo u svrhu provedbe natječaja, u skladu s važećim propisima o zaštiti podataka.
7. Stručni žiri napravit će selekciju među svim pristiglim fotografijama te odabrati fotografije koje ulaze u uži izbor.
8. Odabrane fotografije bit će javno objavljene anonimno (pod šifrom ili brojem). Glasanje za odabrane fotografije bit će javno i otvoreno. Javnost će svojim glasovima odabrati tri (3) najbolje fotografije koje će biti nagrađene.
Prednost će imati originalne i dosad neobjavljene ili nenagrađivane fotografije.
9. Sudjelovanjem u natječaju autori potvrđuju da su prijavljene fotografije njihovo autorsko djelo te preuzimaju punu odgovornost za njihov sadržaj.
Sudjelovanjem u natječaju autori pristaju na korištenje svog imena i fotografija u svrhu promocije natječaja, izložbe i popratnih aktivnosti, bez dodatne naknade.
Narodni muzej Zadar obvezuje se da neće koristiti prijavljene fotografije u komercijalne svrhe.
10. Planirani termin održavanja izložbe je listopad 2026. godine. Točan datum bit će objavljen naknadno.
11. Narodni muzej Zadar zadržava pravo izmjena, dopuna i prilagodbi propozicija natječaja, kao i pravo izmjene tijeka ili prekida natječaja.
12. Sudjelovanje u natječaju je besplatno.
13. Fotografije se zaprimaju od 20. travnja do 1. rujna 2026. godine.
PHOTOGRAPHY OPEN CONTEST “WHAT'S UP SEAGULL“
ORGANISED BY NATURAL HISTORY DEPARTMANET, NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ZADAR
Between the sea and the city streets, between fishing nets and overflowing bins - the seagull lives a double life.
One wing still belongs to the open water and the coast, while the other has fully adapted to the rhythm of the city.
Once a faithful companion to fishermen, today it’s quick, loud, and resourceful - always in the right place at the right time, especially when snack is involved.
It watches from above, but acts in an instant. And rarely misses its chance.
Maybe it gets on your nerves.
Maybe you find it charming.
Or maybe it’s both - depending on how your encounter went.
This is your chance to show us your perspective.
Through photography, reveal its two sides - the one shaped by the sea, and the one shaped by the city.
One bird. Two very different stories.
COMPETITION RULES
1. The competition is open to all participants, regardless of age or photographic experience.
2. Each author may submit a maximum of two (2) photographs:
– one photograph showing the seagull in its natural environment
– one photograph showing the seagull in an urban environment
3. Photographs must be submitted in JPEG format. They must not contain frames, captions, logos, watermarks, the author’s name, or any other identifying marks.
4. Basic digital editing (such as adjustments to brightness, contrast, cropping, etc.) is permitted, provided it does not alter the factual content of the photograph. Adding, removing, or repositioning elements within the image, as well as the use of AI tools to generate or modify content, is not allowed.
5. The following submissions are not permitted:
– AI-generated images
– images that violate ethical standards or the competition rules
– images involving harassment or manipulation of animals
Endangering animals or their habitats for the purpose of capturing a photograph is strictly prohibited. Any photographs created through unethical or prohibited practices will be disqualified.
7. Photographs must be submitted exclusively in digital format and sent via email to: fotonatjecaj.po@gmail.com.
Participants’ personal data will be collected and used solely for the purpose of administering the competition, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
8. An jury will review all submitted photographs and select those that will be shortlisted. The selected photographs will be publicly presented anonymously (under a code or number). Voting will be open to the public, and the three (3) highest-rated photographs will receive awards.
Preference will be given to original works that have not been previously published or awarded.
9. By entering the competition, participants confirm that the submitted photographs are their original work and assume full responsibility for their content.
By participating, authors also consent to the use of their name and photographs for the promotion of the competition, exhibition, and related activities, without additional compensation.
10. All submitted photographs must be the original work of the applicant. Authors retain copyright, but by submitting their work, they grant the Organizer the right to use the photographs for the purposes of the competition, exhibition, and promotion.
11. The exhibition is planned for October 2026. The exact date will be announced at a later time.
12. By submitting their photographs, authors grant the Organizer permission to use and publish them without compensation, exclusively for the purposes of the competition, promotion, and exhibition. The Narodni muzej Zadar will not use the submitted photographs for commercial purposes.
13. The National Museum of Zadar reserves the right to amend, supplement, or modify the competition rules, as well as to change the course of or cancel the competition.
14. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
15. Photographs may be submitted from April 20, 2026 to September 1, 2026.
